*HORROR*    From director Brandon Bassham, and cast with a number of comedic actors from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC, THE SLASHENING focuses on a group of five friends that decide to throw a boozing bash, and are picked off in gruesome fashion by a psychotic killer. Toss in some raunchy humor and you've got...the same formula for almost every slasher/comedy that's marched down the assembly line over the last few years. We've got the full-scale stereotypes in full attendance - the good girl, the slut, the druggie, and a remainder of male throw-ins that should make nice feed for the meat grinder.

Meanwhile, Kristy - who's also just gone through a break-up - finds therapy and monetary success in defending women from sleazy male advances. When Kristy and Bobby take a sudden interest in each other, it's only a matter of time before one of them finds out that they're working for the competition.

R
*HORROR/THRILLER*    Wrath of the crows is very gory and brutal, but tied by a strong concept and the whole story is focused on the characters' development. So there's not only splatter sequences, but also atmospheric moments, a few dream-like sequences and a final twist that will shock you all.
