*DRAMA/COMEDY*   Present-day college freshman and devout Christian, Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper), finds his faith challenged on his first day of Philosophy class by the dogmatic and argumentative Professor Radisson (Kevin Sorbo). *ACTION/ADVENTURE*   Chrysalis is a post-apocalyptic action film, set 25 years after a biological terrorist attack unleashes a virus upon the world, transforming much of humanity into vicious creatures and laying waste to civilization. Our story follows Joshua (Cole Simon) and Penelope (Sara Gorsky), two such survivors who have banded together in the hope of rescuing others and hopefully rebuilding civilization. When they encounter Abira, the lone survivor of another group, their worlds and goals are irrevocably altered, and they must face new and terrifying challenges if they are to survive.

But on the road, with grandma riding shot gun, it may be just what Tammy needs.

When one of the students, Nic (Brenton Thwaites of The Giver and Maleficent), regains consciousness, he is in a waking nightmare.

The film also stars Mekhi Phifer (“Dawn of the Dead”), Kimberly Elise (“Diary of a Mad Black Woman”), Anika Noni Rose (“Dreamgirls”) and Tichina Arnold (“Everybody Hates Chris”). In "A Day Late and a Dollar Short," when irascible matriarch Viola Price learns that her next asthma attack will likely kill her, she is determined to fix her fractured family before she leaves this world, from her relationship with her husband to the lives of her four children and grandchildren. While on this quest, she must contend with sibling rivalry, teen pregnancy and drug addiction – and that is only one child. Additionally, her jailbird son needs to learn how to be a better father, her granddaughter is in bigger trouble than her daughter is willing to admit and Viola’s estranged husband needs saving from his scheming younger girlfriend. Eminem is officially set to bring the get busy back with the news that his Total Slaughter rap battle league will debut at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on July 12th, 2014. The inaugural battle presented by Shady FilmsSlaughterhouse andWatchLOUD.com finds Joe Budden and Hollow Da Don going head to head whileLoaded Lux and Murda Mook duke it out on the undercard. The battle will be preceded by the Road To Total Slaughter – a 4-part reality series, which features “eight of the hungriest battle MCs in the country living together and competing for the right to face-off on the undercard of Total Slaughter.” The show is set to premiere ahead of the battle, in June.
